The co-founder of Viet Capital, Phuong has served as the Chairwoman of Viet Capital Asset Management (VCAM) and Viet Capital Securities (VCSC). With the firm’s recent acquisition and launch of Viet Capital Bank (formerly Gia Dinh Bank), she has also been elected as the Chairwoman of the bank.
In the past, Phuong held the position of Deputy Chief Finance Officer of Holcim (Vietnam) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Swiss multinational conglomerate, which is one of the largest foreign direct investors in Vietnam. She also worked as an Investment Director for Vietnam Holding, a Swiss-based fund dedicated to opportunistic investments in Vietnam and listed on the London AIM.
Phuong received her BA in Business Administration (Banking and Finance) at the National Economics University, and MBA in Financial Management from the International University in Geneva, Switzerland.
